The Easyrig Vario 5 with Serene arm is the rig for the most operator comfort while doing hand-held or gimbal operating. This rig has the Vario 5 system that allows you to adjust the line tension to weight ratio and adds the Serene arm that further enhances the camera’s stabilization and the operator’s control and support of the camera; which equals even more steadier shots, longer takes and the best pictures.

The Easyrig vest has an arm with the Vario 5 system that allows adjustment of the tension to weight ratio of the suspension cable to the camera. The Serene arm is added to the end of the Easyrig arm, the suspension cable is run through it and it has a two axis spring arm that stabilizes vibrations and motion errors on the vertical axis that comes from walking or running with the rig. The Serene also stabilizes side to side errors while moving by counter pivoting around it’s center axis. 

With the Vario 5/Serene combo, you still have full use of the Easyrig cord extension that will allow you to go from high to low mode, for instance - shoulders, waist, or knees, while at the same time the Serene will take care of the vertical and side to side stabilization adding two more stabilized axis to your existing system.

This is the rig for you if you are going to do a good amount of hand-held and it is a must have if you will be using a gimbal rig on the camera.
